The meaning of the name Versicolor is “many colors”, which describes the vividness of the mushroom. One of its strains has many variations of black, white and grey which gave it its nickname “Turkey Tail”, as the shape and colors of the mushroom resembles a turkey’s tail.

The Agaricus Blazei Mushroom

The Agaricus mushroom is an edible mushroom and is known by the names “the Almond Mushroom”, “the Sun Mushroom”, or “the Gods Mushroom”. In Japan it is known as himematsutake – “10000 years mushroom”.

Hericium Erinaceus

The Hericium mushroom grows mainly in Asia on ancient or dead trees. The mushroom is referred to as: “Nature’s food for the neurons and memory” due to its ability to increase the level of NGF – Nerve Growth Factor in the brain and in the nervous system which protects the neurons from the processes of degeneration, aging, and injury.
